Sales/Account Executive [First Sales Hire]

About the position

This is the first sales position we open at Nilos and this is the perfect timing to onboard someone : we’re having an outstanding initial traction, and feedbacks from the first cohort of customers are extremely good. Now, it’s time to accelerate and help more businesses.

On the day to day, you’ll work side by side with the founding team to create the sales machine from scratch.

Concretely, you’ll be in charge of creating and maintaining sustainable relationships with new potential customers, communicating Nilos’ value proposition, designing new partnerships, and closing new deals. You’ll assist in structuring and optimizing the sales operations and processes and help in finding the next team members.

What you’ll do

  1. You’ll own the full sales cycle from an opportunity to a signed deal: intro/qualification, demoing, deal structuring, negotiating and closing
  2. You’ll connect with C-levels/CEOs of high growing web3 businesses and web3 business units from the biggest traditional brands in the world
  3. You’ll assist in building/structuring the team : from interviewing to training the new members
  4. You’ll be responsible for finding new upsell opportunities from our clients and grow our current ARR per customer
  5. You’ll work closely with the product team collecting feedbacks/insights from discussions with potential customers to prioritize essential product features
  6. You’ll be travelling & attending major ecosystem events and nurture relationships / prospecting for new deals
  7. You’ll help selecting the relevant tools & build the relevant processes to scale the team as we grow

What we’re looking for

  1. 3 to 7+ years of experience in sales positions (SDR, account executive..)
  2. Someone that has already managed the full sales cycle from A to Z already
  3. Experience in a small/growing startup is a must (fintech/web3 background is a strong plus)
  4. Someone with an internal drive that pushes and pushes until they succeed
  5. Someone that knows how to focus and adjust its decisions based on data and not on guesses
  6. Works methodically with the current sales stack/tools or equivalents like Salesforce; Salesloft ; Sales Navigator and/or equivalents
